Admission Criteria 

A well defined criterion of acceptance enables the administration to screen appropriate children on merit and equal rights are given to all children without any prejudice to status, caste, location and influence. Admissions are based on performance and intelligence and preference is given to deserving children. An entrance test is given to classify the educational level of each child based on the following:

1. average to superior intellectual abilities
2. Ability to attain above average scores on admission tests specific to the child's age
3. Fine motor skills and writing skills that are age appropriate or better.
4. Demonstration of verbal responses in an interview that are age appropriate or better.
5. Evidence that the parents' educational goals and philosophy are compatible with the school

Communications

Communications

As in every good school, communication is very important. All class teachers have a special relationship with, and have a responsibility for the well being of each child in the class. Ujala Public School Renala Khurd has a very caring community and each staff shares in the care of the students. Students are encouraged to discuss their concerns with the Head Teacher or any other member of staff. Parents are also invited to contact the school whenever advice is needed or problems arise and vice verse.

As learning is a lifelong process, it is recognized that teachers at Ujala should not only improve themselves individually by personal efforts but they should also be given opportunities to attend training and seminars regularly. The principal and administration is responsible for keeping track of external teacher training and scheduling internal training's for the teachers annually to further enhance their teaching skills in their respective subjects. Internal training are conducted by professionals in the field for teachers to learn more from their experience and effective teaching techniques. Visual aides are also an important part of the training's to demonstrate various ways in which resources can be used while increasing students' enthusiasm.
